Two additional corpses discovered in Talisay City

In the past few days, two decomposed bodies have been discovered in different sugarcane fields across Talisay City, Negros Occidental, Philippines. The discoveries were made by concerned citizens and have since been taken up by the Talisay City Police Station for investigation.

On August 29, 2025, around 6 p.m., a citizen found a male body in an advanced state of decomposition, wearing blue shorts, in Hacienda Minuluan Mendoza, Barangay Matab-ang, near a sugarcane field. Another male victim, aged approximately 35-40 years old, was discovered at 2 p.m. in a sugarcane plantation in Hacienda San Isidro, Barangay Concepcion. Nearby, personal belongings and a kitchen knife were recovered.

In a separate incident, a male, estimated to be 45-50 years old, was found at 2:20 a.m. in Hacienda San Isidro, Barangay Concepcion, near a sugarcane field and an abandoned motorcycle and helmet. The identities and causes of death of the victims have not been provided.

It is important to note that the sugarcane fields where the bodies were found are not specified as belonging to the First Farmers Holding Corporation. However, the Talisay City Police Station is currently investigating the discovery of two bodies in a grassy parking area of First Farmers Holding Corporation, Barangay Dos Hermanas, Talisay City, Negros Occidental on August 29, 2025.

This is not the first time such discoveries have been made in Talisay City. On August 11, 2025, three bodies were also found in the same location. The Talisay City Police Station is working diligently to identify the bodies and solve these cases. The names of the investigators and the location of the police station are not publicly disclosed.

As the investigation continues, the community is urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the authorities. The police remind the public that their safety is their top priority and that they are committed to solving these cases and bringing the perpetrators to justice.
