In Wilhelmstadt last evening, a robbery took place on Wilhelmstraße that has left a woman and her companion in a critical condition. The Robbery Squad of Police Directorate 2 (West) is now leading the investigation.
The incident occurred around 8 PM, when a 32-year-old woman was physically assaulted and her 37-year-old companion was allegedly stabbed with a knife by an unknown man. The suspect ran past the couple and snatched two suitcases from the woman before fleeing the scene.
The 37-year-old companion was taken to a hospital with injuries to an arm and the upper body. The extent of their injuries is not specified, but the individual is currently receiving treatment. The woman was also taken to a hospital for her injuries, which police have confirmed to be severe.
