A robbery took place in Wilhelmstadt last evening, leaving a woman shaken and her companion injured. The incident occurred around 8 p.m. on Wilhelmstraße, near Spandau Town Hall.
According to reports, an unknown man ran past the woman and her companion, snatching two travel bags from the 32-year-old woman. During the commotion, the suspect is suspected of injuring her 37-year-old companion with a knife. The perpetrator then fled the scene, and a search in the surrounding area was initiated, but the suspect remains unidentified.
The woman was treated for her injuries and was later released. Although shaken, her injuries were not considered serious. The 37-year-old man was taken to a hospital with injuries to his arm and upper body.
The investigation into the robbery is being handled by a robbery unit from Police Directorate 2 (West). The suspect is still at large, and the current status of the investigation is not specified.
