Two LEADER projects have been implemented in Voßwinkel and Bruchhausen, aiming to advance digital services in rural areas by setting up digital information terminals.

The city of Arnsberg is set to install two digital info-terminals in the village square of Voßwinkel and the church square in Bruchhausen, marking a significant step towards its Smart City strategy and sustainability ambitions. The official launch of these terminals is planned for October 2025.

These info-terminals, funded as LEADER small projects, are a collaborative effort between the city of Arnsberg, its municipal press office, city marketing/tourism department, the Voßwinkel village community, and the Bruchhausen club association.

The info-terminals are designed with a modern aesthetic and feature intuitive touchscreen operation, making them user-friendly for all. They are wheelchair accessible and barrier-free, ensuring inclusivity for everyone.

The info-terminals will serve as valuable resources, offering up-to-date information on current events, activities, tourist attractions, city information, and sustainable city tips. After their installation, they will be prominently featured on the websites of the city of Arnsberg and the respective village communities.

The necessary infrastructure requirements such as power and internet connections are being provided by the city of Arnsberg's green space management. The project's success is also attributed to the active participation of the village communities and the city.

The installation of these digital info-terminals is a testament to Arnsberg's commitment to creating a more connected and sustainable city. The terminals are expected to enhance the local community's access to information and contribute to a more engaging and interactive city environment.

Stay tuned for more updates as we approach the official kick-off in October 2025. For more information, visit the city of Arnsberg's website or your local village community's website.
