UFC fighter Paul Craig discusses the special training that has enhanced his abilities before his comeback to Paris: "It's all about continuous learning and improvement"

UFC veteran Paul Craig is set to make his return to the octagon this weekend in Paris, France. The Scottish fighter is eager to turn his fortunes around after a three-fight losing skid, as he faces off against fellow Brit Modestas Bukauskas.

Craig, who has never knocked anyone out in his UFC career, hopes to make history in Paris by securing his first knockout victory. The light heavyweight contender has a impressive resume, with notable victories over current UFC champion Magomed Ankalaev, Jamahal Hill, and Mauricio Rua.

In preparation for his upcoming bout, Craig has been focusing on improving his technical skills as a fighter. He credits the English Mixed Martial Arts Association (EMMAA) for providing him with the opportunity to attend classes over two days, from nine to five, to learn the rules of MMA.

Craig also attended a refereeing course organized by the EMMAA, which he believes is essential for every fighter to attend. He believes that most UFC stars don't actually know the rules as well as they think they do.

Craig has faced criticism in the past for his controversial outings in the octagon. His last fight against Rodolfo Bellato was one of the biggest talking points of the night, with fans raging at Bellato for allegedly pretending to be knocked out during the fight. Bellato claimed his vision briefly disappeared after an illegal upkick from Craig, but Craig maintains that he was simply trying to defend himself.

Craig believes that a loss to Bellato in Atlanta could have resulted in his UFC contract not being renewed. However, he is confident that he can capitalize on his opponent's weaknesses in their upcoming fight and bring a turning point in his veteran career.

Craig has also expressed his confidence in his jiu-jitsu skills and wants to showcase them in his upcoming fight against Bukauskas. He trained with the organization Scottish Hit Squad in Scotland to hone his skills and prepare for the challenge ahead.

The fight between Craig and Bukauskas is three months after Craig's last controversial outing at UFC Atlanta, and Craig is determined to make a statement in Paris. The two Brits will face off in what promises to be an exciting battle in the light heavyweight division. Craig hopes that his first knockout victory will be the beginning of a new chapter in his UFC career.
