Ukrainian Poker Player, Bohdan Slyvinskyi, Triumphs in WSOPC Atlantic City Main Event, Capturing a Prize of $177,562

In the world of poker, the spotlight recently shone on Bohdan Slyvinskyi, a Ukrainian player who clinched victory in the WSOPC Atlantic City Main Event. Slyvinskyi topped a 635-player field to secure a prize of $177,562 and a coveted WSOP Circuit ring.

Prior to his triumph in Atlantic City, Slyvinskyi's largest tournament cash was a sixth-place finish in the 2024 WSOP Colossus, earning him $111,740. However, this time around, he proved his mettle, leading the final seven players ahead of the final day and eliminating all but one of his remaining opponents to secure victory.

The final table payouts for the WSOPC Atlantic City Main Event were as follows:

  1. Bohdan Slyvinskyi - $177,562
  2. Demetrius Campbell - $118,368
  3. Changfeng Fan - $81,525
  4. Michael Marder - $57,226
  5. Johnny Bromberg - $40,955
  6. Andrew Kershaw - $29,895
  7. Daniel McGinnis - $22,266
  8. Rafael Ben-Yaish - $16,929
  9. Jordan Schneible - $13,144

Slyvinskyi's victory in the Main Event was not his only success in the WSOPC Atlantic City. Earlier this year, he finished 34th in the $1,500 6-Max event in the same Colossus tournament.

However, Slyvinskyi's journey to the top wasn't without setbacks. In January 2025, he narrowly missed out on his first WSOP Circuit ring with a runner-up finish in the WSOPC Illinois Mini Main, earning $58,040. Yet, he bounced back from this disappointment, demonstrating resilience and determination.

Slyvinskyi's most significant tournament before the WSOPC Atlantic City Main Event was the 2023 WSOP Event #18: $300 Gladiators of Poker No-limit Hold’em, where he earned $95,883.

The victory in Atlantic City automatically qualifies Slyvinskyi for the $5M guaranteed WSOP Circuit Championship. He is now set to head to WSOP Paradise later this year.
