Unauthorized vehicle race at Leverkusen-Steinbüchel suspects law-breaking activities
In the quiet town of Leverkusen-Steinbüchel, an unexpected event unfolded on Tuesday, August 12th. A suspected illegal street race took place around 7:30 PM on "Am Steinberg", involving two high-performance sports cars.
One of the participating vehicles, a 360-horsepower Audi S5 Sportback, lost control in a right curve and collided with two roadside posts. The driver, described as approximately 5'11" tall, muscular, with blonde hair, aged around 18-20 years, and wearing shorts, allegedly fled the scene and ran into a nearby forest.
The incident caused fresh accident damage to the Audi, which was later towed away by police as evidence. A witness reported seeing the suspect's Audi parked on the street "Köttershof".
