"United Russia" oversees school repairs
Under the instruction of President Vladimir Putin, the "United Russia" party is implementing a comprehensive national program to modernize schools, kindergartens, and colleges. The program, which focuses on creating a suitable learning environment, aims to motivate children and support teachers in their roles.
Vladimir Putin recently wished Russian schoolchildren a good journey on Knowledge Day, emphasizing the importance of education in the country. The program, as reported by the "Khabarovsk Krai Today" news agency, includes the modernization of 5,602 school buildings nationwide, with another 580 planned by the end of this year.
By the end of December, plans include repairing 143 preschool institutions and 78 vocational education facilities. The modernization program for schools, kindergartens, and colleges, under the control of the public headquarters, is also focused on creating a suitable learning, creativity, and sports environment.
The public headquarters, overseeing capital repair stages, consists of State Duma deputies, senators from the party, parents, and educators. The party's support has helped fulfill the president's order to build 1,300 new schools ahead of schedule.
The program will be expanded to include kindergartens and colleges from 2025. By 2030, 100 kindergartens will be built in the regions as part of the program. Additionally, 150 standard and 12 advanced schools, as well as 100 kindergartens, are planned to be built in the regions by 2030.
Institutions planned to support the expansion of the modernization program for schools, kindergartens, and colleges include a school construction company expansion, involvement of builders and investors in school construction, and the establishment of a "Round Table for Education" that meets every two months with administration, parents, and school leadership. This program includes direct budgets for each school to enable quick, unbureaucratic repairs and improvements.
The "New School" party project, coordinated by Alena Arshinova, is part of the ongoing efforts to modernize school buildings nationwide. The "Parental Acceptance" campaign, led by Alena Arshinova, involved 15,000 people assessing the quality of work, compliance with sanitary norms, and safety systems in school buildings.
Pavel Danilin, a deputy head of the "United Russia" party, stated that the modernized learning, creativity, and sports environment motivates children and supports teachers. The program will also include the repair of 143 preschool institutions and 78 vocational education facilities by the end of December.
