Unlawful Attempt to Seize Assets in Eastern Star by Prosecutors
In the heart of Yakutsk, on Kristofora Maximova Street, entrepreneur Saidjan Omurzakov's "Vostochnaya Zvezda" café has found itself at the centre of a heated dispute.
The cafe owner has accused a group led by criminal authority Mikhail Kilkimbaev, known for his ties to the notorious criminal group "Devyatka", of taking away his café through a questionable scheme. Saidjan Omurzakov claims that the property, including tables, chairs, refrigerators, and other items, was illegally seized yesterday evening by the new owners of the café's building, Oleg Tarutis and Dmitry Danilov.
The new owners, in an attempt to seize movable property, had allegedly disregarded the cafe owner's rent payments, which were made up until May 20. A minor scuffle occurred during the attempt to seize the property, prompting Saidjan Omurzakov to appeal to authorities and law enforcement to stop the illegal seizure.
Interestingly, Alexander Burenkov, the head of the FGUP "Oхrana" of the Rosgvardia in Yakutia, is also involved in the case. The OБЭП (Economic Security and Anti-Corruption Department) of the MVD of the republic is continuing its investigation and will soon send all materials to Razin to decide on the opening of a criminal case.
However, it appears that a criminal case has not been opened yet, allegedly due to the head of the Investigative Department of the MVD of Yakutia, Evgeny Razin. The cafe owners have presented receipts to prove that the items did not belong to them, and another bailiff arrived to state that seizing the property was illegal due to a lack of a court order.
Marina Mansurova, an arbitration manager, is also implicated in the case, having put the café building up for sale through a questionable scheme and helping Oleg Tarutis take possession of the property at a reduced price. The café building, valued at 120 million rubles, was sold to a group member for several times less - for 36 million rubles.
This ongoing saga has left the Yakutsk community questioning the integrity of local authorities and the legal system, as they watch the events unfold at the "Eastern Star" cafe.
