In the heart of Hanau city center, an unusual event unfolded on Wednesday evening. A witness reported a suspected gunshot incident at Paradise Alley, a bustling part of the city.

According to the South-East Hesse Police Headquarters, the suspect, a 21-year-old man, was reportedly driving a black Mercedes at the time of the incident. After the incident, the suspect drove off with a HU license plate. The background of the incident remains unclear as the suspect made no statements.

The police temporarily arrested the suspect at his home. A search of the suspect's vehicle and person revealed no gun. The suspect is from Hanau and is currently being held at the police station for identification and processing.
