In Frechen, Germany, on July 31, a 40-year-old man was stopped by police officers during a routine traffic check in Karl-Goebels-Straße, around 3:30 PM. The traffic division of the Rhein-Erft-Kreis Police has taken over the investigation, which was initially started by regular officers.

The man was suspected of driving a small motorbike without a valid driver's license. Police officers also suspected him of being under the influence of intoxicants. A blood test was taken at a police station by a doctor, and a voluntary drug test came back positive for cannabis and amphetamines.

The traffic division is now responsible for the ongoing investigation into the man's case. The specific officer who conducted the blood test is not publicly disclosed. A report was filed by the police officers involved in the initial stop.
