In an unprecedented turn of events, "KPop Demon Hunters", the animated Netflix sensation about a K-Pop girl group leading a double life as demon hunters, has made history. After nine weeks of being available online, the film has achieved an unparalleled success.

The sing-along version of the film has recently been released on Netflix in Germany, adding to its global reach. The music in "KPop Demon Hunters" has been a significant factor in its success, with tracks like "Golden", "Your Idol", "Soda Pop", and "How It's Done" storming charts worldwide.

The soundtrack for the film currently holds the number 2 spot on the Billboard 200 album charts, and "Golden" has held the number 1 spot on the US Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks. Remarkably, other titles from the soundtrack are simultaneously holding the 4th, 5th, and 10th places, making it historically unprecedented for a soundtrack to have four songs in the Top 10 simultaneously on the US Billboard Hot 100.

The cinema release of "KPop Demon Hunters" signals a strategic opening for Netflix, demonstrating that streaming hits can also make a splash on the big screen. Between August 22 and 24, the film grossed around $18 to $20 million in US cinemas, outperforming other cinema releases that weekend, such as "Weapons - The Hour of Disappearance".

The popularity of "KPop Demon Hunters" could potentially dethrone "Red Notice" as the most successful Netflix film of all time. The artists behind the soundtrack include Jenna Andrews, Dominsuk, Earattack, Ian Eisendrath, Ido, Jo Gap-chul, Kang Joon-woo, Stephen Kirk, Lindgren, Boy Matthews, and the performers credited as Huntr/x and the Saja Boys; notable contributions also come from K-pop group Twice, MeloMance, Jokers, and composer Marcelo Zarvos, with executive music producer Ian Eisendrath overseeing the project.

Meanwhile, the K-Pop group Enhypen is set to give their first concert in Berlin's Mercedes-Benz Arena. Four members of Enhypen were interviewed by GQ before their first Europe tour. The success of "KPop Demon Hunters" has been captivating millions of viewers worldwide for weeks. With "Golden" seeing a 39% increase in radio plays this week, reaching 16.2 million listeners, it could help the song maintain its top position on the Hot 100 in the coming weeks.

As "KPop Demon Hunters" continues to break records and captivate audiences, it solidifies itself as one of the most successful Netflix films of all time.
