Unrelenting, declares Xi Jinping at military procession

Headline: World Leaders Gather for Military Parade in Beijing to Commemorate World War II Anniversary

In Beijing, world leaders gathered for a grand military parade to mark 80 years since the end of World War II. The event featured the showcase of China's military prowess, with vehicles, heavy weapons, and servicemen and women in uniform taking centre stage.

At the helm of the event was Chinese President Xi Jinping, who stated that the world is still "faced with a choice of peace or war." Xi also extended his hand in friendship to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and Russian President Vladimir Putin, shaking hands with both during the parade.

The parade was not without diplomatic intrigue, as Putin thanked Kim for helping Russia oust Ukrainian soldiers from the Kursk region. This acknowledgement comes amidst the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, with the main trustworthy allies of Moscow since its invasion being Belarus and the regions in eastern Ukraine controlled by pro-Russian separatists (Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics).

North Korean special forces were also reported to have participated in the liberation of the Kursk region, fighting courageously and heroically. Putin further praised the trust and friendship between Russia and North Korea, stating that sending troops was Kim's idea.

The meeting between Putin and Kim was held in a context of new agreement between the two countries. Putin even extended an invitation to Kim to visit Russia, a gesture that was made public via a video posted by the Kremlin.

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to accuse the three leaders of plotting against the US. However, the interactions between Xi, Putin, and Kim during the parade remained unclear to the public.

The parade also showcased China's enormous new DF-5C intercontinental ballistic missile, a testament to the nation's military advancements. As the world watches, the dynamics of international relations continue to shift, with the relationships between these world powers at the forefront.

Xi Jinping ended his remarks by asserting that China is "unstoppable," a statement that serves as a reminder of the nation's growing influence on the global stage.
