Pro DV Acquires Netfox AG: A Strategic Move in IT Security and Infrastructure Consulting
Netfox AG, a system house based in Kleinmachnow, has been under insolvency proceedings since February 2025. On May 1, 2025, the main insolvency proceedings for Netfox were opened. However, a positive development came on September 1, 2025, when Pro DV, an IT service provider based in Dortmund, took over the operational business of Netfox AG.
This acquisition is seen as a significant step for both companies, with Pro DV aiming to expand its market position in critical IT infrastructure. The deal includes customer contracts, technical infrastructure, employees, and a branch in the Berlin area. This acquisition is also intended to further strengthen Pro DV's competencies in IT security and infrastructure consulting.
Gregor Steverding, a board member of Pro DV, confirmed the acquisition's strategic importance, stating that it opens up new potential in a strategically important market segment. Markus Böttcher, the former board member of Netfox AG, shares this sentiment and remains in the company following the takeover, having been appointed as an additional member of the Pro DV AG board.
