Unspoken Drama from Brazil: BAMBU BAMBÁ
On the 1st of October, 2025, the Heinz Hilpert Theater in Lünen will host a special musical theater performance, BAMBU BAMBÁ, by the renowned Brazilian artist collective, Bando de Brincantes. The story revolves around a young black boy named Bambá, who is forced to leave his homeland due to war and environmental disasters. As Bambá journeys through new cultures, he learns about rituals, finds strength in his own traditions, and playfully breaks down prejudices.
