Unsuccessful Search for Individuals in the Midland Channel by FW Hannover

On Saturday evening, at around 6:20 PM, emergency services in Hannover were alerted to a water rescue operation at the Mittelland Canal in the List district. Eyewitnesses reported seeing a person in distress, and a comprehensive search and rescue operation was initiated by the regional control center.

Seventeen vehicles were deployed for the mission, and sixty emergency personnel worked tirelessly above and below the water surface to locate the individual. The search operation, which lasted for approximately two hours (from 6:20 PM to 8:50 PM), covered the shoreline area of the canal extensively.

Despite the extensive search, the operation was unsuccessful in locating the individual. The subsequent search was unsuccessful, and the operation was called off without result.
