Upcoming performance by La Mirada Symphony: Winter-Free Concert on October 27th
The La Mirada Symphony, a California-based 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization, is set to host a chamber concert on Sunday, January 12, 2025. The event will take place at 3:00 p.m. and will feature chamber music performed in an intimate setting.
The concert will take place at the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, located at 14900 La Mirada Blvd, La Mirada, CA 90638. For those interested, a pre-concert lecture will be held at 2:15 p.m.
The program for the concert includes Overture to "The Wasps" by Ralph Vaughan Williams, Dolly Suite by Gabriel Fauré, and Symphony #3 in F Major by Johannes Brahms.
In a recent performance at the La Mirada Theatre, nearly 30 student musicians from the Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District joined the La Mirada Symphony. These students were part of the District's middle school Honor Band and performed a musical salute to the United States.

The City of La Mirada also hosts summer concerts as part of their Concerts Under the Stars series. The opening summer concert on July 9 featured the band "Flip Out" playing hits from the 70's and 80's.
