**"Let's Drink Up!" - Nevada's Secret Hideout, Nomikai
Variety expands at Venetian Las Vegas with the launch of a new sushi establishment and clandestine bar.
Grab your shakers and join the party! Nomikai, a thrilling blend of a sushi joint, restaurant, and speakeasy, has opened its doors at The Venetian in Las Vegas. Nomikai is a term rooted in Japanese culture, meaning a gathering fueled by spirits and food, aka a colossal good time!
Jun An, the culinary director, and his identical twin brother, Nick An, the executive sous chef, are the man buns behind the culinary genius at Nomikai.
Upfront, the sushi counter boasts two-bite sushi, yellowtail sashimi, tuna tataki, a tantalizing poke bowl, and the works - sakes included. A companion to-go window offers a quick fix with two-bite sushi, the poke bowl, rolls, and cocktails.
Your Hidden Retreat
So, if you're ready to partake in some premium sushi, swig down some rare Japanese whisky, or savor a glass of Akashi Japanese whisky mixed with an array of Japanese-inspired cocktails, take a step into the dimly lit, secretive hideaway concealed through a clandestine hallway.
In this cozy speakeasy, the menu features goodies such as spicy tuna chips, bluefin tuna pizza, and A5 wagyu nigiri. The mixology program is led by James Manos, with concoctions including those featuring Nikka Coffey Gin.
Nomikai aims to deliver an experience that transitions from fast and fun in the front to an intimate, extended dining adventure in the back! Remember, what happens at Nomikai, stays at Nomikai. Cheers! 🥂🔥💃️](#)
