Vehicle Accident: Individual Suffers in a Hit-and-Run Incident

In the heart of Gummersbach, a traffic accident occurred on the Cologne Road on August 11, causing quite a stir. The incident took place near the entrance to Gutenberg Street at around 12:55 PM.

According to the Circles Police Department Oberbergischer Kreis, a 21-year-old resident of Gummersbach was driving an Audi. Due to traffic conditions, the young driver had to brake suddenly, resulting in a collision with a Mercedes Vito driven by a 33-year-old resident of Gummersbach.

Sadly, the 21-year-old sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision. Immediately, emergency services were called to the scene, and the young driver was taken to a hospital for treatment. The 33-year-old driver, fortunately, remained unharmed.

The aftermath of the accident left the 21-year-old's Audi no longer roadworthy. It had to be towed away due to the damage incurred during the collision.

The police station responsible for this incident falls under the jurisdiction of the Oberbergischer Kreis police authority, with the Gummersbach police station handling the case.
