Yesterday morning, a traffic accident occurred in Gropiusstadt, leaving a 64-year-old man injured. The incident took place at the intersection of Fritz-Erler-Allee and Otto-Wels-Ring around 10:45 AM.

According to reports, the man crossed the road against a red light, and a truck driving on Fritz-Erler-Allee towards Johannisthal Chaussée at the time collided with him. As a result, the man was trapped under the vehicle and sustained injuries to his legs.

The truck driver involved in the accident is a 52-year-old individual. The emergency services rushed to the scene and transported the man to a hospital, where he was admitted as an inpatient.

The Fritz-Erler-Allee was closed to traffic between Grüner Weg and Zadekstraße until around 12:40 PM due to the accident. This closure affected the M46 bus line.

The investigation of the traffic offense was taken over by a specialized commission of the police directorate 4 (South). However, the search results do not provide the name of the truck driver involved in the accident on Fritz-Erler-Alley.
