Vehicles Unintentionally Ensnaring Pedestrians (LPI-G)

In Zeulenroda-Triebes, Germany, a traffic accident occurred on the night of November 9, 2024. The incident involved a pedestrian and a driver, and occurred on the L1087 road near the Quingenberg and Silberfeld junction.

According to the State Police Inspectorate Gera, the accident took place at approximately 00:55. The pedestrian, aged 60, sustained serious injuries in the incident. The driver, aged 19, performed an emergency brake, but a collision could not be avoided.

The exact cause of the accident and the responsible party have not been publicly disclosed. The Greiz police are currently investigating the incident.
