Venture to the labyrinthine cornfield in Eutingen.
The corn maze in the picturesque town of Eutingen has been a summer highlight for many families, opening its gates since the last weekend. Located at the outskirts of the town towards Kieselbronn at the intersection Auf der Höhe/Julius-Heydegger-Straße, this attractive attraction offers more than just a labyrinth of corn.
The corn maze is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 am to 7 pm, providing a perfect weekend outing. Various organisers, each with their unique programs, ensure that visitors are treated to a delightful culinary experience.
On the weekend of August 11 and 12, 2018, the Heimatverein Eutingen took charge, offering Schnitzelweck, Rostbratwurst, corn on the cob with herb butter, and homemade cake. The event was a success, attracting many families.
Fast forward to August 18 and 19, 2018, and it was the Dartclub Hexe 94 e.V.'s turn. They served delicious grilled food, cooked corn on the cob, Maultaschen, draught beer, coffee, and cake. Additionally, they offered tombola, dart games for children, and a minimum fee of 20 euros for agreed special dates.
On July 28 and 29, 2018, the corn maze was closed due to the Eutinger summer festival. However, the fun resumed on September 8 and 9, 2018, when the Musikverein Eutingen e.V. took over. They offered Schnitzelweck, Rostbratwurst, corn on the cob with herb butter, and the main band under the direction of Werner Schlimmer opened the early breakfast in the corn maze on Sunday morning.
As the summer holidays approached, various clubs provided a variety of dishes. On September 15 and 16, 2018, for instance, several clubs offered Schnitzelweck, Rostbratwurst, corn on the cob with herb butter, and homemade cake.
The corn maze also caters to special dates during the week, with admission prices of 1.50 euros for children, 2.50 euros for adults, and 5 euros for families. For agreed special dates, a minimum fee of 20 euros applies.
On August 31 and September 1, 2018, the Evangelisch-Methodistische Kirchengemeinde provided Currywurst, fries, schnitzel buns, coffee with homemade cake, and game stations on Saturday. Sunday 10:00 am church service at the corn maze was also a part of the event.
The corn maze operation continues until September 16, 2018, and bus line 1 from Pforzheim to Eutingen stops at "Auf der Höhe", making it easily accessible for visitors.
