VfB Stuttgart Reinforce Their Attack with the Loan Signing of Moroccan Talent Bilal El Khannouss
VfB Stuttgart, the current DFB Cup champions, have made a significant move in the transfer market by securing the services of Moroccan national team player Bilal El Khannouss on loan from Leicester City.
The 21-year-old midfielder, known for his dribbling skills, pace, and excellent passing abilities, will bolster Stuttgart's attack, particularly in the center and on the wings.
El Khannouss' footballing journey began with the youth teams of RSC Anderlecht, where he honed his skills until 2019. After that, he moved to KRC Genk before making a move to Leicester City in August 2024. His tenure at Leicester was short-lived, as he was loaned to VfB Stuttgart in September 2025.
The transfer deal is until the end of the current season, providing Stuttgart with a valuable asset for the remainder of their campaign. El Khannouss brings with him a wealth of experience, having previously represented the Moroccan national team and winning a Bronze Medal at the Paris Olympics.
Fabian Wohlgemuth, the sporting director of VfB Stuttgart, expressed his excitement about the signing, stating, "Bilal is a talented young player with great potential. We believe he will make a significant contribution to our team."
The transfer was officially announced by VfB Stuttgart, who are eager to see El Khannouss in action as they continue their title defense. With this addition, Stuttgart's squad looks stronger than ever, and fans are eagerly anticipating the upcoming matches.
