Vietnamese Vegan Eatery Unveiled in Worms
In the heart of Worms, a vibrant city in Germany, a new culinary gem has emerged. The Vietnamese Vegan Restaurant, located at Hagenstraße 18, opposite the Worms police station, is a welcome addition to the city's diverse food scene.
Owned by Thien Lung Nguyen, this restaurant specialises in "An Chay," a traditional Vietnamese plant-based diet. The menu, while reminiscent of other Vietnamese restaurants, is entirely vegan, offering a unique twist on classic dishes.
Upon entering, diners are greeted with a variety of options. Appetisers range from summer and spring rolls, Kimchi, Edamame, steamed dumplings, a yeast bun, Chachalot skewers, and various noodle-wrapped dishes. For the main course, rice dishes include rice balls, curries, warm and cold bowls, and other rice variations with different sauces and sides.
The restaurant's noodle-based main dishes consist of rice noodle soup, stir-fried Udon noodles, Mie noodles, and rice noodle dishes with various toppings. For those with a sweet tooth, desserts such as baked bananas, fried sesame balls drizzled in honey, and Mochi in various flavours are available.
There might have been some confusion about the chicken dish on the menu, but upon inquiry, it was confirmed that the restaurant's entire menu is completely vegan. Contrary to what the menu suggests, the chicken listed is not vegan.
The Vietnamese Vegan Restaurant is open Tuesday through Sunday from 11 am to 3 pm and 5 pm to 10 pm. On holidays, the hours are 12 pm to 3 pm and 5 pm to 10 pm. They are closed on Mondays.
