Violence at Augustplatz: Two fifteen-year-olds hospitalized after being assaulted by foreign teenagers.

In a shocking incident that took place around 7 pm on Tuesday evening, three German teenagers aged 15 were attacked by a group of 15 to 20 foreign teenagers on Leipzig's Augustusplatz.

According to reports, the ordeal began when the boys refused to hand over a pullover worth approximately 300 euros that the attackers initially demanded. This led to physical attacks, with the boys being pursued and beaten further while on tram line 32.

Fortunately, the attack ended when an unknown woman and man intervened. Two of the boys were lightly injured and treated on the spot. Unfortunately, nearby passersby refused to help the three boys during the attack.

Social media reports claim that the attackers shouted "f***ing Germans" during the assault. However, the search results do not provide any information about suspects who allegedly attacked the three German youths or about any related insults involving foreign youths.

The parents of the victims are seeking witnesses and ask for tips to be sent to the email address [email protected]. It would be more useful to contact the Leipzig-Zentrum Police Station at 0341 / 966 34 299 to provide witness information.

Reports on social media also state that the boys were more seriously injured than initially reported. Despite the attacks, nothing was stolen from the boys.

The police are currently investigating the incident, and more information is expected to be released in due course. It is a reminder for everyone to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the authorities.
