Minister Peter Hauk, the head of the Ministry of Food, Rural Areas, and Consumer Protection, has been actively engaged in visiting various locations across Germany over the past few weeks.

On August 12, 2025, Minister Hauk visited the Testfeld for Agri-Photovoltaic Model Installations in Merdingen. This was followed by a trip to the Forschungsstelle for Agri-Photovoltaics in Langenargen on August 13, where he gained insights into the current research in this field.

The following day, Minister Hauk inspected the Kompetenzzentrum for Fruit, Garden, and Landscape in Weil der Stadt, and the Destillerie Steinhauser in Kressbronn. On August 15, he took a break from his visit program.

Resuming his visits on August 19, Minister Hauk inspected the "Management Concept for Geese" pilot project in Esslingen, visited the wooden new construction of the Collegium Academicum student and trainee housing, and informed himself about the current situation regarding African Swine Fever. He also visited the LEKI company in Kirchheim Teck on the same day.
