Wanted: Two Witnesses for Road Accident in Bocholt

In Bocholt, a hit-and-run accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon on Langenbergstraße, leaving the police searching for the driver involved.

According to the traffic department, the incident happened on a parking lot, not on the road. A car with a Dutch license plate was parked on the street at the time, and it was this vehicle that was hit by a white passenger car. Remarkably, the car with the Dutch license plate was not damaged beyond repair.

Two witnesses observed the accident and have provided statements to the traffic department. The driver of the white car, described as a man around 40 years old wearing grey shorts, did not stay at the scene of the accident. Instead, he fled without fulfilling his legal obligations.

The white car that hit the Dutch car is described as a passenger car. The traffic department in Bocholt is urging anyone who may have additional information about the incident to come forward.
