weekends competition begins for BHC as they face off against Bayer Dormagen on Saturday night.

The Bergischer HC is gearing up for an exciting pre-season match against Bayer Dormagen, scheduled for this Saturday at 6:00 PM in Solingen Klingenhalle.

Handball fans are advised to arrive earlier as the anticipation for this game is high. If possible, public transportation is recommended due to potential parking limitations around Klingenhalle on Saturday, as several demonstrations have been announced.

The game will serve as a benchmark for the Bergischer HC before the start of the season, providing an opportunity for the team to test their skills and strategies against a formidable opponent.

The Bergischer HC will be led by new coach Julian Bauer, who comes from the fast-paced SC Magdeburg. He will be joined by Søren Steinhaus and Louis Oberosler, both of whom are under contract with the Bergischer HC. Markus Pütz will also be on the sidelines, coaching alongside Bauer.

The team aims to display a strong defensive structure in the upcoming game, having focused on this aspect in training, particularly in analyzing their recent 24:34 defeat against TBV Lemgo Lippe. Defending against the seventh field player tactic has been a major topic in training.

Meanwhile, Bayer Dormagen will be led by the new coach, Julian Bauer. Belal Massoud, however, will not be able to play at the start of the season as he is still in rehab.

The remaining players from both teams will have the last chance to present themselves and recommend themselves for their starting position in the upcoming game.

The Bergischer HC will be wearing jerseys sponsored by Sparkasse during the game, which will be given away to fans after the match. The catering for the event will be provided by the youth department, with all proceeds going to the youth section.

It is expected that the game will be fast-paced, reflecting Bauer's coaching style from his time at SC Magdeburg. Fans can expect an exciting and competitive match.

The entrance fee for Klingenhalle on Saturday evening is 10.00 euros for adults (reduced 8.00 euros). Please note that there may also be closures by police around Klingenhalle on Saturday.

Don't miss out on this pre-season clash between the Bergischer HC and Bayer Dormagen. Come and support your favourite team!
