Weekly Update: Exploring Aachen City Library - A Chance to Uncover Knowledge and Entertainment
In the first full week of September 2025, Aachen City Library will host its Golden Days event, a three-day celebration of exchange, support, and joy. The event takes place from Wednesday to Friday, with a variety of activities on offer for everyone.
On Wednesday, 03.09.2025, from 10 am to 12 pm, Digital Mentors Help will be available at the library for personal assistance with smartphones and tablets. This service is open to all, and no registration is required. If you've been struggling with digital devices, this is the perfect opportunity to get some hands-on help.
Later in the day, from 3 pm onwards, card games, classics, or new board games will be available for social play. Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the game, this is a great chance to meet new people and have some fun. And, as with all events during Golden Days, there's no need to register.
On Thursday, the Onleihe Consultation Hour will take place, aimed at those who need assistance with using digital books and audiobooks. This event, which occurs on the last day of the Golden Days event in September 2025, will take place at Aachen City Library, located at Couvenstraße 15 (Ground Floor). The Onleihe Consultation Hour is open to everyone, and admission is free.
The Onleihe Consultation Hour will also be available on Friday, from 11 am to 12 pm. This service is part of the Golden Days event at Aachen City Library and is designed to help anyone who needs assistance with digital books and audiobooks.
