Who qualifies for home cleaning services?
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has announced that its environmental program for residents of East Palestine, Ohio, and the adjacent evacuation zone in Pennsylvania, will come to an end on Tuesday, September 5.
Anyone living within the 1-mile by 2-mile Ohio-Pennsylvania evacuation area is eligible for the service. Interested individuals can access the program by calling 330-775-6517, filling out an online form on the EPA's website, or visiting the EPA Community Welcome Center.
The EPA Community Welcome Center, located in East Palestine, has been a key point of contact for residents seeking the service. However, after September 5, the center will no longer be a location to access the service. The online form for the service can also no longer be filled out after this date.
It is important to note that if you have already expressed interest in the program, there is no need to contact the EPA again. Priority will be given to those who have been relocated until September 5, after which priority will no longer be given.
For those who have not yet contacted the EPA, you have until Tuesday, September 5, to do so. After this date, it will not be possible to fill out an online form or visit the EPA Community Welcome Center to access the service.
For more information or to express your interest in the program, please call 330-775-6517 or visit the EPA's website. Act promptly to ensure you do not miss out on this opportunity.
