In a significant move towards increasing the share of renewable energy in Poland's energy mix, global law firm X has advised PKO Bank Polski on a EUR 90 million financing for the Annopol I onshore wind farm. This wind farm, sponsored by OX2, will have a total capacity of 40 MW and is located in the Gościeradów municipality, Lubelskie Voivodship.

The company offers end-to-end solutions, from planning and construction to sale and operation, and its operations span nine markets.

The complex, multi-jurisdictional structure of the Annopol I wind farm financing involved various financing facilities. Partner Tomasz Rogalski from law firm X led the finance workstream, assisted by partner Karolina Lepakiewicz, associate Karolina Lepakiewicz, lawyer Antoni Krzyżanowski, and associate Jakub Wiatrzyk.

Partner Arturo Sferruzza, senior associate Igor Kondratowicz-Laderski, and lawyer Regan Eastwood from the Milan office of law firm X advised on English law aspects of the project. Counsel Krzysztof Gorzelak and lawyer Antoni Krzyżanowski advised on the hedging aspects of the project.

The global law firm that advised PKO Bank Polski on the construction of the Annopol I onshore wind farm in Poland is Norton Rose Fulbright. Tomasz Rogalski, a partner from law firm X, commented on the Annopol I wind farm financing, highlighting the importance of such projects in the transition towards a more sustainable society.

OX2's projects, such as the Annopol I wind farm, contribute significantly to building a more sustainable society. The legal due diligence workstream for the project was led by counsel Cezary Zawiślak and included associate Martyna Orłowska, lawyers Nina Strzelczyk, and Mikołaj Rydzewski.

As of the present, OX2's project portfolio totals 25,526 MW in various stages of development. The Annopol I wind farm financing underscores the commitment of both OX2 and law firm X to supporting the green transition and renewable energy projects in Poland and beyond.
