Winning 4,000 euros at Kalkberg - planning for a wedding!
The Karl-May Festival in Bad Segeberg has once again reached the impressive milestone of 400,000 visitors, marking the fifth consecutive year this feat has been achieved. This historic moment was made even more special as Kristin Schack, a local resident from Siek near Ahrensburg, became the 400,000th visitor to the production of "Half-Blood".
As a token of appreciation, Kristin was awarded a cash prize of €4,000. Toni Köppen, the mayor of Bad Segeberg and the supervisory board chairman of the Kalkberg GmbH, presented the prize symbolically in a rustic jute bag adorned with a large dollar sign. Overjoyed with her winnings, Kristin revealed she will use the money towards her upcoming marriage.
Kristin's visit was a family affair, as it was the first time her children, Aaron (7) and Freyja (3), experienced the magic of the Bad Segeberg open-air theater. Her partner, Alexander Warncke, had not visited the theater since his teenage years.
Stefan Tietgen, the production and artistic director of the Karl-May-Festspiele in Bad Segeberg, is responsible for the production and play management of "Half-Blood". Prominent lead actors in the production include Alexander Klaws as "Winnetou", Francis Fulton-Smith as "Charles Leveret", and Sonja Kirchberger as "Donna Leveret".
Tickets for the "Half-Blood" production are still available, particularly on Friday afternoons. The final performances will take place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 3 PM and 8 PM, and on Sunday at 3 PM only. For those interested in purchasing tickets for the unnumbered block F, they can do so by phone or at the box office.
