Witnesses are being solicited by the police in connection with recent break-ins.
In a series of unfortunate events, several burglaries have been reported in the cities of Recklinghausen and Herten over the weekend, according to the Polizeipräsidium Recklinghausen, as announced via news aktuell.
On Saturday, a row house on Barkenberger Allee in Recklinghausen was the target of a burglary between 10:30 AM and 13:30 PM. The suspects, who fled the scene without any apparent reason, left behind no clear evidence of stolen goods. The time, location, and method of entry are known, but further details are yet to be disclosed.
In a separate incident, two suspects were caught on surveillance camera attempting to steal a car in Herten at 00:40 AM on Saturday. The car was parked on the Nordring. The first suspect was wearing a light-colored cap, a light-colored vest, and a dark t-shirt. The second suspect did not have a detailed description provided. The suspects, who fled the scene without success, may have left the area in a car which could potentially be related to the burglary.
Unfortunately, no information about the identities of the individuals involved in a break-in at the Christine-Englerth-Straße company area on Sunday evening at 00:46 has been made publicly available. Four suspects were observed attempting to break into a garage in this incident.
Another burglary occurred in a single-family home on the street "Buchenhöfe" in Recklinghausen between 12:45 PM and 14:20 PM. Three men were observed in the area during this time. The details about the stolen goods, if any, are yet to be disclosed.
