Witnesses needed for investigation into harmful physical injury caused by gunfire from a homemade scarecrow figure, referred to as BPOL-F.
In a shocking turn of events, an unknown perpetrator is being sought by the police following a shooting incident that occurred in Frankfurt am Main on June 3, 2025.
At approximately 19:15, the perpetrator approached a 29-year-old man and fired a blank-firing pistol at close range, resulting in serious injuries. The victim is currently receiving medical treatment.
The perpetrator is described as approximately 1.75m tall, with a dark upper lip beard, slicked-back black hair, and wearing a black t-shirt with a brown/beige logo on the chest, black short jogging pants with beige-black-white-red stripes on the sides, black long socks with a white logo at the top, and black and white sneakers.
The perpetrator was accompanied by a female person at the time of the crime. She is described as a 35-year-old woman with light brown hair tied in a low ponytail, and was carrying a small brown/grey-white handbag. She is known to the police for property offenses, and was accompanied by a 33-year-old man from the Ebersberg district.
The perpetrator fled in the S-Bahn line 3 towards Bad Soden, and was last seen at around 19:20, leaving Frankfurt (Main) West station and disappearing in an unknown direction.
Investigations against the unknown perpetrator have been initiated for dangerous bodily harm. Witnesses with information about the incident are asked to contact the police.
