Michaela Pistono, a rural woman from Dieblich-Berg, is set to join the popular TV show "Delicious to the Countryside" in its new season, which starts on August 25. The show airs every Monday at 20:15 on SWR and at 21:00 on WDR.

Pistono's farm, Heidehof, is located in Bedford. The farm spans over 85 hectares of arable land, 60 hectares of pasture, and six hectares of orchards. Pistono grew up on this very farm, tending to cattle, goats, geese, and chickens.

After a break during which she worked in Koblenz and studied business administration, Pistono returned to Heidehof. She completed an agricultural apprenticeship and took over the farm. Today, she runs a direct marketing operation with a farm shop at Heidehof, selling beef and game from her own hunting, processed in the farm's own butchery.

In the new season of "Delicious to the Countryside," Pistono will be traveling through the southwest in an antique bus named "Willi," along with five other rural women. Each episode, a rural woman cooks a three-course meal for the others in a friendly contest. This season, a rural woman from the show's region will also be featured.

Episodes of "Delicious to the Countryside" can be watched a week earlier in the ARD Mediathek. The show is set to start on August 25, so mark your calendars and get ready to enjoy some delicious countryside cooking with Michaela Pistono and the rest of the rural women.
