Accident in Pulheim-Brauweiler: Three Vehicles Involved in Collision
A traffic accident occurred in Pulheim-Brauweiler on Tuesday evening, 19th August. The incident took place at a traffic light on Marienstraße, where a 22-year-old man in a VW Polo rear-ended a Toyota Yaris driven by a 25-year-old woman. The impact of the collision pushed the Toyota Yaris into a Ford, driven by a 44-year-old woman.
According to the Rhein-Erft-Kreis Police, the accident occurred around 7 p.m. The scene of the accident was closed off for investigation and rescue operations, and tow trucks removed the non-operational VW Polo, Toyota Yaris, and Ford from the scene.
The 25-year-old woman sustained minor injuries and was taken to a hospital by emergency services. The drivers of the VW Polo and the Ford were uninjured. Police officers were present at the accident scene, and the traffic commission has taken over the further investigation of the accident.
