Woman perishes in vehicular collision, five others sustain injuries in Hong Kong incident
In the heart of To Kwa Wan, a tragic incident unfolded on Tuesday afternoon. A woman lost her life after being hit by a vehicle belonging to CLP Power, a local energy company.
The collision occurred near the entrance to the Ma Tau Wai Estate car park on Shing Tak Street, at around 3.35pm. According to reports, the woman was found unconscious after the incident and was later pronounced dead at Kwong Wah Hospital.
The CLP Power vehicle's front-end was severely damaged, with the bumper torn off, suggesting the impact was significant. The other car involved in the collision also sustained damage, with its roof and rear section affected.
Five other individuals, including two passengers from the vehicles and an additional pedestrian, were injured in the incident. The police are currently investigating the cause of the crash.
