Pig-rearing women of Saubande create a spectacle at the Chapiteau

The small town of Gerresheim in Germany was transformed into a vibrant carnival scene on February 15, as the Saubande hosted a memorable event at The Big Top at Flinger Broich.

The evening was filled with lively music and energetic performances, thanks to DJ Torsten Abels and the rhythm sports group who kept the party atmosphere going. Alt Schuss, a popular performer, entertained the guests with songs that encouraged dancing and singing along.

The Saubande's own dance group, the Pig Ladies, made their debut and received applause from the audience. Led by Ricarda Duennwald, the Mother Pig, and her numerous piglets, the Pig Ladies put on a great show, performing to a mix of popular songs such as "Let me entertain you", "Everybody", "Barbie Girl", "Let's get loud", "Gangnam Style", and "What a Feeling". They encored with the inspiring "What a Feeling".

A jubilant welcome was given to Prince Andreas I and Princess Evelyn, who arrived with a delegation from the CC at Flinger Broich. The royal couple gave speeches and performed the session song "Duesseldorf Helau".
