The funding opportunity, which extends until the end of 2024, is open to groups, self-organizations, and associations within the city.

The application process involves filling out a form, which can be found on the city's homepage. Both the application form and funding guidelines for the Advisory Board for People with Disabilities and the Senior Citizens' Advisory Board are accessible online. The links for downloading these documents can be found on the city's homepage.

For projects planned or starting in December, applications must be submitted by October 31. Applications for projects under 500 euros, regardless of the quarter, are due by September 30, 2024. Applications for projects from the fourth quarter (October to December) can be submitted following local municipal guidelines, typically via the city administration’s social or cultural department. However, it is advised that potential applicants confirm specific details on eligible organizations or application procedures with the Solingen city office or official funding announcements.
