Workshop on climate changes relocated

The Climate Workshop, initially scheduled for July 8, has been postponed and is now set to take place on October 1. This event, part of the citizen participation project "Paths to a climate-neutral Bavarian Untermain," will no longer take place at the Aschaffenburg Town Hall, but rather at Friedrich-Dessauer-Gymnasium, located at Stadtbadstraße 4.

The Climate Workshop focuses on developing concrete measures for expanding renewable energy, climate-friendly mobility, sustainable renovation, building and living, and climate protection in agriculture and forestry. Registration for the event can be done online at https://events.baumgroup.de/Klimawerkstatt_Stadt_Aschaffenburg_011025 or via email at [email protected].

The workshop will take place in the auditorium of Friedrich-Dessauer-Gymnasium from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM. The postponement of the event was due to the large number of registered participants, ensuring a more manageable and engaging experience for all attendees.

On June 24, the city of Aschaffenburg and the districts of Aschaffenburg and Miltenberg launched the "Paths to a climate-neutral Bavarian Untermain" project with an event in the city hall. The Climate Workshop is one of the initiatives aimed at fostering community involvement and collaboration in the pursuit of a sustainable future for the region.

While the identity of the workshop leader on October 1 remains undisclosed, attendees can look forward to a productive and informative evening as they explore practical solutions for climate change and discuss ways to promote renewable energy and sustainable practices in their local communities.
