WSOP-C Calgary: Event #1 Underway, Winner Yet to be Crowned

The World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOP-C) is currently underway in Calgary, with Event #1, a Big 30 Stack NLH tournament, kicking off today. Players began with 30,000 in chips, and the last chance to enter was at approximately 3:50 PM. However, the winner of this year's event remains unknown at the time of reporting.

Last January, Antoine Saddleback emerged victorious in the same event, defeating Jacon Parent in a thrilling heads-up match. Saddleback took home a substantial $28,680 for his first-place finish. The total prize pool for that event reached $150,150, with a total of 455 entries. This year's event follows a similar structure, with a buy-in of $400 ($330 + $70) and 10 levels of entries, each lasting 25 minutes.

As the WSOP-C in Calgary continues, poker enthusiasts eagerly await the announcement of this year's Event #1 winner. The event's structure and prize pool have once again attracted a significant number of players, setting the stage for an exciting competition.
