The World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit is set to return to Montreal this summer, with the WSOP Circuit Montreal 2025 taking place from August 18 to September 2, 2025, at the Playground Poker Club in Kahnawake, near downtown Montreal.

This 16-day live poker festival will feature approximately 15 ring events, with total guarantees exceeding $5 million. The main attraction, the $2,500 Main Event, boasts a guaranteed prize pool of $2.2 million and will have multiple Day 1 flights on August 28, 29, and 30, followed by Day 2 on August 31 and the final day on September 1.

For those with a more modest budget, the festival kicks off on August 18 with a $400 Mini Main Event, which offers a $500K guarantee and six starting flights. The festival also caters to high rollers, with the $5K Mega Stack scheduled for August 31-September 1, featuring a $500K guarantee.

In addition to the Main Event, the WSOP Circuit Montreal 2025 offers a variety of events suitable for different poker playing styles. Early events in the series include the $400 6-Max, Progressive Bounty, Mega Stack Turbo, and the $400 Mystery Bounty, which has three starting flights and offers $200K in prizes. The final week of the festival includes a second Mystery Bounty and a Monster Stack.

The festival will also host a $1,000 Colossus, which runs four Day 1s and plays down to a champion on August 28. Ladies have their own ring event on Tuesday, August 26, with a $400 buy-in and $20K guaranteed in prizes.

Online satellites are being hosted by GGPoker, giving players the opportunity to qualify for events, including the Main Event. The WSOP-C Montreal 2025 will be covered by on-site reporting for all major moments.

Last year's Main Event winner, James Pillon, received $247,654 after a heads-up deal with Lucas Constable. This year's festival offers opportunities for ring chasers, satellite grinders, and those seeking big prize pools without high buy-ins.

The WSOP Circuit Montreal 2025 is one of the major stops on the 2025 WSOP Circuit International Tour. So, mark your calendars and get ready for an exciting poker festival in the heart of Montreal!

Participants with an interest in casino-and-gambling can look forward to the WSOP-C Montreal 2025, as it provides not only poker events but also casino games, with the Playground Poker Club hosting various table games. During the 16-day festival, sports enthusiasts can engage in friendly competition with fellow attendees, as the event includes opportunities for sports betting within the venue.
