In a recent Instagram post, comedian Kiku Sharda has confirmed that he will continue to be a part of the popular Indian comedy show, The Great Indian Kapil Show (TGIKS). Contrary to rumours, Sharda has denied reports of his departure from the show and has completed shooting for the current season.
Sharda's post also revealed that there are only three episodes left of TGIKS on Netflix, with each season consisting of 13 episodes. The current season of the show is ongoing.
The actor, known for his comedic roles, has also been reported to participate in the upcoming reality show Rise And Fall, which is set to stream from September 6, 2025, on Amazon MX Player. Apart from Sharda, celebrities like Kubbra Sait, Nayandeep Rakshit, Dhanashree Verma, Pawan Singh, Arjun Bijlani, and others are part of the show.
However, no official confirmation regarding Sharda's involvement in Rise And Fall has been made yet.
In an unexpected turn of events, Sharda's Instagram post also clarified that the rumoured fight with his co-star Krushna Abhishek was a prank. The two were seen together in a recent picture posted by Sharda on his Instagram account.
Meanwhile, India has firmly rejected US Trade Adviser Peter Navarro's remarks on Brahmins profiteering over Russian oil deals. No further details about the matter have been provided.
