In a recent culinary competition, several businesses from Wuppertal and its surrounding areas showcased their culinary prowess. The event, held in the city, attracted five local eateries and one from a neighboring region.
The Italian restaurant "Elvi & Ele" from Radevormwald impressed the judges enough to claim the third spot, securing the bronze medal with an impressive 40 points.
The competition was fierce, but the silver medal went to "Esskultur(k)" from Unterbarmen, owned by Kai Schütte. With 41 points, they narrowly missed out on the top spot but still managed to secure a prestigious second place.
The "Landhaus Ewich" from Dönberg put up a strong fight, taking fourth place with 37 points. The Cronenberger restaurant "Zur Crone" rounded off the top five with 35 points.
Interestingly, four of the participating businesses were from Wuppertal itself, demonstrating the city's rich culinary scene. The competition was a testament to the creativity and skill of these establishments, each offering unique flavours and dining experiences.
