Young adult in custody, apprehended at age 25
In the heart of Braunschweig, on the 20th of August, 2025, an intriguing series of events unfolded on Gördeler Street.
At 16:00h, four individuals were observed by plainclothes police officers near a locked car in a courtyard. The individuals appeared to be inspecting the vehicle's interior, raising suspicions.
The police officers, identifying themselves as such, approached the group. However, the individuals attempted to flee, prompting the officers to intervene and prevent their escape.
During the encounter, a lost phone was found in the car, and a subsequent attempt by the individuals to flee was prevented. The crime scene was then examined by the criminal police for any traces.
