New Recruits Join the Main Customs Office Braunschweig

The Main Customs Office Braunschweig has welcomed seven new recruits as part of a three-year dual study programme with the CUSTOMS. The recruitment drive, which is open to all suitable young talents, offers a secure future in a large federal administration.

Interested parties can apply for the dual study until April 15, 2025, for a recruitment date on March 1, 2026. For those seeking a two-year training programme, applications can be submitted until October 15, 2025, for a recruitment date on September 1, 2026.

The theoretical part of the study will be conducted at the Federal Administration of Public Administration in Münster, while the practical phases will take place at various areas of the Main Customs Office Braunschweig, its six customs offices, and other outsourced locations. These areas include case processing, special units, financial control of undeclared work, and customs investigation.

Mrs. Government Director Regine Andreas presided over the swearing-in ceremony of the new recruits on March 1, 2025. The CUSTOMS offers employment with a high-quality study and a secure job with many exciting and varied tasks. Upon completion of the dual study, the young customs officers can expect employment in diverse areas of the CUSTOMS.
