Our poker-loving pals chatted with none other than Mumbai's Zarvan Tumboli - a mastermind who snatched a title on SSS Day 1. His plans? Fast-forward to Day 4, ol' BolAuntyAuKya continued his promising streak, nabbing another title on Spartan Poker last night. This one was the whopper of the night, SSS Event #20 Daredevil INR 10 Lakh GTD!
No brainer, this was the big kahuna of the night. With 121 players signing up and 244 re-buys, discounts were a-plenty! Only the top 15 players left with some moolah, grabbing a minimum of INR 19,000.
The final 2 contenders? Tumboli and the formidable Shravan Chhabria (a.k.a. 'D.Trump04' ). It was a nail-biting head-to-head battle, and the last hand was downright dramatic!
Tumboli, holding Queens, slow-played 'em throughout, even with a set on the board. After a series of checks and calls, the river card, a 9c, completed his full house! He went all-in and his opponent, holding a King-high straight, bit the dust! Tumboli banked another INR 2,80,000!
Chhabria's runner-up finish netted him a cool INR 1,82,500.
