Zwift streamlines cycling access, enhances Click shifters, and expands the size of New York City in its latest update

Racing Schedule and Tighter Banding
Zwift will bring back its full racing event schedule for the 2025/26 season. The races are expected to be more competitive due to tighter banding, ensuring a thrilling experience for all participants.
Expansion of New York World
Zwift is extending its New York world, offering new routes that take cyclists over the iconic Brooklyn Bridge, through Brooklyn's Prospect Park, and even into the New York subway network. These new routes promise an immersive and challenging cycling experience.
New Zwift Click Controller
The company has also introduced the new Zwift Click controller, which consists of two units, each equipped with multiple buttons for improved control. The new controller replaces the old Zwift Play controllers.
Online Brompton World Championships
Zwift will host the online Brompton World Championships from 17 to 23 November, featuring custom London routes and a tweed kit available in the DropShop.
Team Racing Options
Team racing options start with Z//Racing in September and extend through to the Zwift Games in February and March 2026.
Zwift-Ready Trainers
Garmin-Tacx, along with other brands like Wahoo, Elite, Van Rysel, and JetBlack, will offer new Zwift-Ready trainers in the USA from autumn 2025. These trainers come with pre-installed Zwift Cog and are available starting September 9, 2025.

Personalized Workout Recommendations

Zwift Cog and Click upgrade kits are now available for trainers from all major brands, including Tacx, at a price drop to £49.99 / $49.99 / €49.99.

Zwift has made it easier to pair a trainer to a device by offering a recommended best connection type. The new Zwift Click controller and Zwift Cog are shipped ready to ride after mounting the bike and plugging in the trainer.
Improved Connectivity and Updates
The updates to Zwift's platform for autumn 2025 include a wider range of Zwift Ready trainers from brands like Wahoo, Elite, JetBlack, and Tacx. Zwift has also made it easier to pair a trainer to a device by offering a recommended best connection type.
Imported Activities from Garmin, Wahoo, and Hammerhead
Since opening up the app to outdoor workouts, Zwift has imported 5.3 million activities from Garmin, Wahoo, and Hammerhead cycling computers.
Zwift Unlocked Event Series
In November, Zwift will introduce a new event series called Zwift Unlocked, with five stages, each with new long and short routes.
New Screens for Progress and Celebration
In November, a new 'Progress Report' screen will be available in Zwift, and a 'Review and Celebrate' screen in the Zwift Companion App.
